2nd Generation Prepares For New AlbumKANSAS CITY, Mo. – 2nd Generation is currently readying and diligently preparing for their new recording. The up-and-coming trio has been rehearsing and learning new material for the new project – currently untitled and slated to release in March 2008. Award-winning songwriter Gerald Crabb will produce the record. Crabb and the group are set to record both tracks and vocals in February 2008. “We are working hard looking for great songs,” said Gerald Crabb. “I am very excited about being involved with this album. It’s gonna be great!” Brenda Denney of 2nd Generation said, “We are so excited about a new project. It has been two years in the making, and we are thrilled to be working with the extremely talented Gerald Crabb.” The new album will feature a nice mix of new material and older songs that have played a major influence in the group. 2nd Generation’s Elaine Parks said, “These songs all have such a special message to us. We can’t wait to start singing them!” More information on the new recording will be released later. This new recording is the follow-up to the group’s break-out album, Who Wants to Praise the Lord? That album spawned off the hit singles “Hanging On a Nail”, “When He Chose Me”, and the group’s current single “Trouble Me No More.” 2nd Generation’s latest single, “Trouble Me No More,” was recently shipped to Southern Gospel radio through the Rick Hendrix Company.
